For Ohioans who crave community but want peace they can’t find in the city, Madeira may be the ideal place to call home. If the October data from MLS of Greater Cincinnati is any indication, many homebuyers (both within Ohio and coming in from out of state) are looking for precisely this situation.

Madeira is a familiar market for many on the Oyler Hines team, including co-founders Scott Oyler and Mike Hines. The two typically make a strong showing in the monthly real estate rankings, and October 2025 is no exception.

In this month, Scott and Mike were both in the top four for Madeira: Scott Oyler was ranked first, and Mike Hines ranked fourth.

Scott topped the list with two transactions and a total sales volume of $2,765,000 (for an average transaction value of $1,382,500). His sales accounted for 6.67% of the Madeira total. Mike had one transaction and a total sales volume of $1,900,000, accounting for 3.33% of Madeira sales.

Before joining forces in 2021 to found Oyler Hines, Scott Oyler and Mike Hines both made names for themselves in the Cincinnati area. As a third-generation Cincinnati realtor with more than $1 billion in career sales, Scott led the Oyler Group. Mike and his father created and grew Build Collective, a company that connects developers, builders, and homebuyers.

Oyler Hines created a powerful synergy still felt by nearly everyone in the Cincinnati real estate industry. Scott and Mike still focus on what they do best: Scott leverages his knowledge of the market to help buyers find existing homes, while Mike works with aspiring homeowners to build what they’ve been envisioning.

In a hot market like Cincinnati (including Madeira and other suburbs), connections and experience are critical. As real estate industry veterans, Oyler and Hines can use established networks to help clients take advantage of opportunities that seem impossible anywhere else.
