In Madeira Real Estate Sales, Oyler Hines Comes Out on Top

Oyler Hines co-founders Scott Oyler and Mike Hines ranked first and fourth, respectively, in Madeira, Ohio, residential real estate sales.

Madeira, Ohio, may be a small city — its population is less than 10,000 — but a recent rankings report shows that its real estate market has remained robust. Scott Oyler, co-founder of Oyler Hines and the company’s head of existing home sales, has come out on top in the city’s real estate sales rankings.

From April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025, a total of 198 agents sold a combined $127,973,142 in residential real estate. Those transactions had an average value of $646,329.

Of those 198 agents, Oyler was ranked at number one. Oyler listed 21 properties and sold 10, with a total sales volume of $22,702,362. The average transaction was $732,334. For the sake of comparison, the second-ranked agent had a total sales volume of $6,916,717.

Oyler’s sales account for 17.74% of Madeira residential real estate sales — a significant footprint in such a small city. However, Oyler wasn’t the only member of his company in the rankings. Mike Hines, the other co-founder of Oyler Hines, was ranked fourth. As the company’s head of new construction sales, Hines primarily focuses on helping clients who wish to build custom homes or purchase new construction in one of Oyler Hines’s developments.

Hines listed a property and sold one for a total transaction volume of $3,121,862. This accounted for 2.44% of Madeira real estate sales. Together, Oyler and Hines are responsible for more than 20% of Madeira’s total sales volume over the past year. Oyler Hines often makes it into the top rankings, but in sales percentages, Madeira has been one of their strongest showings this year.
