Greater Cincinnati, OH – Oyler Hines of Coldwell Banker Realty finished 2025 as the top mega team in Ohio for sales volume, according to the newly released RealTrends Verified rankings. The Cincinnati team closed $284.63 million across 455.3 transaction sides for the year, more than any other mega team in the state.
Second place was not close. The team led the 18-team field by nearly $90 million in volume, and it ranked fourth statewide for transaction sides, a sign of how many deals moved through the group in a single year across Greater Cincinnati.
A Standout Year in a Shifting Market
What makes the number land is the market behind it. Ohio inventory rose 23% during 2025, and by December roughly 42% of listings had already taken a price cut. Buyers gained the upper hand. Sellers waited longer for the right offer, and price reductions became routine. Through a year that tested pricing and patience on both sides of the table, Oyler Hines kept closing homes for its clients across the Cincinnati region.
“Being named the #1 Mega Team in Ohio is a tremendous honor that reflects the trust our clients place in us and the relentless work ethic of every member of our team,” said Scott Oyler, Team Lead and Head of Existing Home Sales at Oyler Hines. “This ranking is a milestone we share with the clients and communities who make our work possible.”
FAQs:
What is a mega team in the RealTrends rankings?
RealTrends sorts teams by headcount, and the mega tier covers 21 to 50 licensed agents. The 2026 program introduced a new Enterprise tier for teams of 51 or more, which is why the mega band now stops at 50 rather than running open-ended the way it did in earlier years. Qualifying for a state ranking takes at least 40 residential sides or $16 million in closed volume.
What period does the 2026 ranking cover?
Production from the 2025 calendar year. RealTrends published the 2026 rankings on June 5, 2026, so the program year and the data year always sit one apart.
Why is the transaction side count a fraction?
A side is one half of a deal, either the buyer or the seller. An agent who represents both parties on the same sale earns two. When two agents split the representation between them the credit splits with it, and that is how a team lands on a figure like 455.3 instead of a whole number.
What counts toward sales volume?
Closed residential sales, and nothing else. RealTrends leaves out commercial deals, land, lots, leases, referrals, and rentals, and it counts multi-family buildings only up to four units, so the volume figure reflects home sales alone. Homes and condos, essentially.
Where did Oyler Hines rank?
First in Ohio among mega teams for sales volume, on $284.63 million closed across 455.3 transaction sides. Fourth in the state for sides.
