CINCINNATI, OH - Scott Oyler, co-founder and Team Lead at Oyler Hines, ranked No. 1 among real estate agents in Hamilton County for July 2026, according to the latest ranking report from the Multiple Listing Service of Greater Cincinnati.
The report covers residential sales recorded from July 1 through July 31, 2026. Oyler received credit for 19 transaction sides, including eight listings and 11 buyer-side sales, with $11,945,525 in total volume. His average transaction value was $628,712.
A No. 1 finish in a competitive county
Oyler and the second-ranked agent each recorded 19 transaction sides in July. Oyler took the top position with more than $2 million in additional volume. The next agent closed $9,860,000, compared with Oyler's $11,945,525.
Hamilton County's ranking report included 2,112 credited transaction sides and $893,959,600 in volume for the month. Oyler accounted for 0.90% of the county's credited activity.
The MLS report grants double credit when the same agent represents both the listing and buying sides of a transaction. Its rankings are sorted first by transaction count and then by volume.
July activity across Greater Cincinnati
The ranking came during a busy month for the region. The REALTOR Alliance of Greater Cincinnati reported 1,880 closed sales across its five-county market in July, up 5.9% from the same month in 2025. The regional median sold price reached $329,450, while total sold volume rose 7% to $757.57 million.
Inventory also increased to 3,271 active listings. That gave buyers more choices, but homes still sold in a median of nine days. In a market moving at that pace, buyers and sellers need accurate pricing, clear communication, and an agent who can keep a transaction on track.
Local experience across Hamilton County
Oyler's July results reflect work across several parts of Hamilton County, from Cincinnati neighborhoods to established eastern suburbs. His experience as a third-generation Cincinnati Realtor and Head of Existing Home Sales helps clients evaluate local pricing, prepare competitive offers, and manage each step from contract to closing.

What the ranking means for clients
Monthly rankings are one measure of activity, but the practical value for clients comes from current market experience. Agents who regularly write, negotiate, and close contracts see how pricing and buyer behavior are changing in real time.
For sellers, that experience can help with list-price decisions, offer comparisons, and contract terms. Buyers benefit from a clearer view of recent sales, local competition, and the terms needed to put together a strong offer without taking on unnecessary risk.
